Kodiaks put an end to Storm home ice unbeaten streak

Nov 18, 2017 | 6:43 AM

Peter Kope’s second goal of the night with 1:21 left in the third period powered Camrose to a 5-4 win over the Grande Prairie Storm on Friday night.

The goal came shortly after the Kodiaks successfully killed off a four minute Storm power play.

Parker Smyth, Eric Sorensen, Parker Huebner and Edouard Michaud scored for the Storm, who suffered their first regulation time loss at Revolution Place in 11 games.

The Storm now hit the road for four in a row, beginning Sunday afternoon in Sherwood Park.
