Claresholm man facing sexual assault charges

An investigation into alleged numerous sexual assaults of five victims in their late teens, has resulted in 19 charges against a Claresholm man.
 
The man, who won’t be identified to protect the identity of the victims, has been charged with six counts of Sexual Assault, five counts of Sexual Interference and eight counts of Sexual Exploitation. 
 
The accused is scheduled to be in Fort Macleod court on December 6.
 
RCMP began an investigation on November 15 into the alleged incidents which took place over 11 months and would like to thank the victims for coming forward. The RCMP encourage anyone who feels they may have been a victim of a similar crime, or any other crime to report these incidents.
