Family Day Activities in the city

There are a number of Family Day long weekend activities planned over the next few days in the city.

It all starts Saturday with a free skate at the Dave Barr Community Centre from 1:30 -2:45 p.m.

Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the Grande Prairie Museum will be free activities including mini old-fashioned carnival games and a chance to record your family story with the South Peace Regional Archive.

Winterlude is on Monday starting at noon with sleigh rides, skating on the pond and other family activities. It costs $5 per family and is at Muskoseepi Park.

Also, that day there will be a free family swim at the Eastlink Centre beginning at noon

And a free BBQ and activities at the Centre including Bubble Bump Soccer and giant board games.

Both Saturday and Sunday there will free activities at Revolution Place.

Over the three days, there will be a number of community ‘winter blast’s throughout Grande Prairie.
