Crusaders Force Game 5 back in Grande Prairie

The Grande Prairie Storm and the Sherwood Park Crusaders are going the distance.

Sunday night in Sherwood Park the Crusaders exploded for four goals in the first and four goals in the 2nd to vault them to an 8-5 victory over the Grande Prairie Storm.

Connor Blake found the back of the net twice, and Zachary Okabe had a goal and an assist in the loss.

With Sherwood Park’s win, the series is now all tied at two.

The 5th and deciding game of the series is back in Grande Prairie Wednesday night at Revolution Place.

The winner will move on to the 2nd round and face the Spruce Grove Saints, while the loser will have their season come to an end.

Puck drop for Wednesday night’s game is at 7:30 p.m.
