NWJHL Final begins in Fort St.John tonight

The North West Junior Hockey League Final between the North Peace Navigators and the Fort St.John Huskies begins tonight in Fort St.John.

Fort St.John earned their spot in the final after a series victory over the JDA Kings in five games.

The Navigators, on the other hand, went the distance with the Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks and clinched a series victory in game seven.

The two teams will battle in a best of five series to determine the NWJHL Champion.

However, both teams season won’t be over following the series as both will participate in Provincials which will be in Fort St.John at the end of the month.

Puck drop for game one is at 8:00 p.m. in Fort St.John.

Game two is Friday in Peace River, and game three back in Fort St.John Sunday.
