Youth try it day expected to draw close to 100 kids

The registration deadline is closed for the GP Wheel House’s youth try it day, and overall the organization is overwhelmed with the amount of youth set to participate.
On a post on their Facebook page Sunday morning, the Wheel House revealed 90 youth had signed up for the try it day.
The day will allow the youth of Grande Praire and surrounding area to try out the sport of roller hockey without having to purchase their own gear and get a sense of what the sport is all about.
As a result, with the number of kids signed up it is taking the organization a little longer to set the on-ice groups.
