Youth try it day a huge success for GP Wheel House

It was a busy weekend for the GP Wheel House as the organization held their first youth try it day.

The sessions at the Sexsmith arena provided an opportunity for the youth of the peace region a chance to try out the sports of roller hockey.

More than 90 kids took part in the session.

Youth registration for the upcoming year has been left open for the beginning of this week to allow any players who participated in the day to sign up for the 2018 season.

Men’s registration, on the other hand, closed over the weekend, and the season is set to kick off at the end of the month.
