Museum receives national recognition

The Grande Prairie Museum has received national recognition for its Alberta Culture Days celebrations last years.
Spokesperson Robin White says they were given an Award of Outstanding Achievement in Marketing from the Canadian Museum Association.
“So, this award was due to a lot of collaboration within the community, we worked with other Alberta Culture Days host facilities (The Centre for Creative Arts and The Grande Prairie Public Library) and just worked together to make it bigger for Canada’s 150th.”
The organizations worked together on multi-levels including print, digital marketing, room rentals and funding applications.
