After two decades file remains open in 1997 Southern Alberta double homicide

 For some, it's hard to believe it's been 20-years since a double murder outside of Pincher Creek. It's hard to believe the culprit has never faced justice, and the members of two families are left with unanswered questions.

The Director for Canada Border Services (CBSA) says locating contraband in the thousands of vehicles that cross the border at Coutts every day is like looking for a needle in a haystack.  But, on Saturday, December 2, CBSA officers found the needle.

Parole Board determines Sparwood child abductor still a risk

 A man convicted of kidnapping a three-year-old boy from his Sparwood home in the fall of 2011will remain behind bars.

A federal parole board recently determined 52-year-old Randall Hopley is likely to commit sexual offences against a child if released from prison.
