Peace Region 4-H clubs getting money from FCC

Jan 27, 2021 | 4:08 PM

Five organizations from around the Peace Country are among the 2020-21 recipients of funding from the Farm Credit Canada (FCC) 4-H Club Fund.

Every year, FCC gives up to $500 to clubs located across Canada for things like buying resource materials, developing existing programs, covering event costs, and supporting volunteers.

Four clubs based on the Alberta side of the Peace are among those getting funding. Those are the Kleskun 4-H Multi-Club, the Wildrose 4-H Multi Club based in Valleyview, the Berwyn Multi Coveralls 4-H Clubs, and the Eaglesham 4-H Beef Club.

The one recipient from the B.C. Peace is Silver Willow 4-H based in Fort St. John.
