Do You Take the Higher Road?

I love projects, big or small, long term or short – projects give me clarity, focus and help me to stay diligent and on task. No matter what project I start – even if it falls short of my goal, I always learn, grow and get insight I would have missed had I not started.

I’m excited to tell you about a simple project I’m into these days.

On a journey towards my 52nd birthday (I know you thought I was only 37, right??), I am doing a little 52 Days to 52 Years project. I am counting down and posting thoughts, musings, ideas to live Your Life, Unlimited.

Inspired by the 52 cards in a deck of playing cards and Cardology (yeah, I didn’t know what it was either), I am using a card a day to help me (and hopefully others) think, share and develop and to evoke conversations that matter.

Whether you are counting down to something or not, feel free to join the conversation!

Here’s a sample…

Day 47 – Nine of Hearts
Today the focus is to take the higher road.

My thoughts on this…

-Being right can come at a cost.
-Being right isn’t always best.
-Does this relationship matter more than being right matters?
-Everything in your head doesn’t always need to be said.
-We are friends but we don’t always have to agree.
-Sometimes I think I’m right, but I’m not.
-There is more than one right answer.
-Oftentimes peace is better than being right.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on what taking the higher road means to you and how it can/does/has played out in your life.
