CALGARY – Former U-S first lady Michelle Obama is coming to Calgary this spring.
She will visit the Stampede Corral on Friday, March 23 for an event hosted by the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.
Spokesman Scott Crockatt says the wife of Barack Obama is an inspiring person who has a deep knowledge of Canada-U-S relations.
During her time in the White House, Michelle Obama launched several initiatives, including Let’s Move, which battles childhood obesity and Let Girls Learn, which helps adolescent girls around the world go to school.
