Tough weekend for GPRC clubs against Concordia

Both the GPRC basketball and volleyball teams were back on the court this past weekend against Concordia.

The women’s volleyball team had a successful weekend on the road as they beat Concordia twice. Friday in 3 sets, and Saturday in 5.

Unfortunately, that was the only highlight for the Wolves sports teams this weekend.

The Men’s volleyball team was swept in both of their games against Concordia losing both contests in 3 sets.

While at home, the basketball clubs didn’t fare much better.

The Women’s team dropped an 80-61 decision to Concordia Friday night, and then followed it up with a 66-57 loss Saturday afternoon.

The Men’s basketball team also fell 97-89 Friday evening, and 99-79 Saturday.

The GPRC basketball teams will hit the road this coming weekend for a pair of games against Lakeland College while the volleyball teams will be at home.
