Little scores 2nd goal in OT, Jets beat Sharks 5-4
SAN JOSE, Calif. — Bryan Little made sure Winnipeg went into the All-Star break with at least one overtime victory. In a season filled with success, the Jets finally got two points in their eighth overtime contest.
Little scored his second goal of the game 18 seconds into the extra period, lifting the Jets to a 5-4 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night.
“We’d had our chances to win in overtime,” Little said. “It definitely felt good tonight, especially after the way that game went.”
Joel Armia also scored twice and Mathieu Perreault had one goal to help the Jets win their third straight and fifth in the last seven. Connor Hellebuyck finished with 29 saves.
