Michaud hat-trick leads Storm to overtime win

The Grande Prairie Storm won their third game in a row Tuesday night in thrilling fashion as they knocked off the Drayton Valley Thunder 6-5 in overtime.

Edouard Michaud scored three times including the game-winner in overtime to lift the Storm to their 22nd win of the season.

Connor Blake had also had a three-point night with a goal and two assists, and newcomer Jared Power continues to find the back of the net as he scored Tuesday night along with recording an assist.

With the win, the Storm improve to 22-20-3 on the year which is good for 47 points.

The win also gives Grande Prairie a three-point lead on the Sherwood Park Crusaders for 4th in the AJHL North division.
