Alberta Derby set for Sunday at Evergreen Park

It will be another busy weekend of horse racing out at Evergreen Park; which will be highlighted by the Alberta Derby.

Post time Sunday is at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, and the Derby race will take place at 3:55 p.m.

Eight horses are entered in Sunday’s $50,000 event which sees the horses race 1 1/6 miles.

Derby Day will highlight a jam-packed weekend at the track.

There will be 22 races in total over the span of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This includes 6 each on Friday & Saturday, and a total of 8 on Sunday.
