Walters leads at final WPCA Pro Tour stop

The final stop of the 2018 WPCA Pro Tour at the Battle of the Rockies got underway in Rockie Mountain House last night.

Following Day 1 of competition, John Walters sits atop the standings after posting the fast time of 1:15.78.

Chanse Flad is on Walters heels sitting with a time of 1:15.79, and Chanse Vigen is 3rd after posting a time of 1:15.82.

The driver posting the best 4-day aggregate time after Sunday’s run will take home the 2018 Battle of the Rockies Championship. 

Dustin Gorst came into this year’s event as the defending champion and Kurt Bensmiller, in search of his third career World Chuckwagon Championship came into the final show of the year with a 74.5 point lead over Vern Nolin.
