Peace Country PCFAC Storm earn split on the road

The Peace Country PCFAC Storm hit the road this past weekend for a pair of contests against Lloydminster.

Saturday the Storm fell 4-3 to the Steelers but bounced back with a 2-1 win Sunday.

Arilyn Toews scored the game winner with 6:33 remaining in the 3rd to secure the win for the Storm.

With the weekend split the Midget Elite Storm sit with a 7-2-1 record on the year and remain in first place in the North division.

They will return home Saturday for a meeting with the Calgary Fire Red.

Elsewhere, the Peace Country Bonnet Storm also earned a split this weekend.

Saturday they dropped a 3-1 decision to the St.Albert Slash, but rebounded with a thrilling 2-1 win in overtime Sunday.

They will be back on the ice Saturday in Leduc against the North Central Impact.
