Storm look to push through Cru Saturday at home

Dec 1, 2018 | 6:00 AM

The Grande Prairie Storm will return to Revolution Place Saturday night looking to get back in the win column against one of the top teams in the AJHL.

The Sherwood Park Crusaders head to the Swan City sitting in 2nd place in the North division and 3rd overall

They are also 2-0 against the Grande Prairie Storm this season, with both of those wins coming at Revolution Place.

Grande Prairie has been away from GP for the last two weeks and played four contests away from their home rink.

Unfortunately, the road wasn’t too kind to the Storm as they went 1-3 away from Revolution Place, including a 4-2 loss to Drayton Valley on Tuesday.

Face-off between the Storm and Crusaders is at 7:30 p.m.

Tonight, is also the Storm’s annual Teddy Bear Toss game where fans are encouraged to bring new or lightly used stuffed animals to the game and chuck them on the ice following the Storm’s first goal of the game.
