Flyers, Comets pick up Friday night wins

Fairview Flyers got goals from five different players en route to a 5-2 win over the North Peace Navigators on Friday night in Peace River.
 
Zacheri Schlachter, Liam Yasinski, Kyle Cairns, Dawson Blanchette and Logan Mazerolle scored for the Flyers, while Daniel Noskey and Ashtyn Peters replied for the Navigators. 
 
Tonight’s NWJHL schedule features two games, including the Flyers visiting the County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings, while Dawson Creek visits Fort St John.
 

 
Friday night also featured just one game in the NPHL.
 
Braden Gamble made 41 saves for the Manning Comets, who got goals from five different players en route to a 5-3 win over Grimshaw.
 
Payton Proskurnak, Tyler Paulovich, Michael Gillen, Logan Newman, Josh Rutherford scored for the Comets, while Brendan Hawryluk had all three goals for the East division leading Huskies. 
 
There are three games on tap tonight, including the Huskies at home to Falher and the Comets heading to High Prairie, while Grande Prairie hosts Fort St John.
