Storm complete weekend sweep in Spruce Grove

The Grande Prairie Storm are returning to the Swan city with three wins in their pocket following a busy weekend on the road.

The Storm completed the weekend sweep Sunday afternoon with a 4-3 win over the Spruce Grove Saints.

Connor Blake had a massive afternoon for Grande Prairie in the win.

The Captain recorded a goal and three assists.

Zachary Okabe netted a pair in Sunday’s win, and Kaeden Lane shut the door making 43 saves.

With the win Sunday, the Storm improve to 17-15-2 on the year, and are still 5th in the AJHL’s North division.

The club will be back on the ice Friday night when they get back on the bus and head down to Drayton Valley for a meeting with the Thunder.
