Mar 4, 2019 | 5:06 AM

The JDA Kings and Dawson Creek Jr.Canucks are heading back to Dawson Creek with the series tied up at a game a piece.

This after the Kings bounced back with a 6-3 win in Game 2 Sunday afternoon at the County Sportsplex.

After Chase Henrickson opened the scoring just 54 seconds into the game for Dawson Creek, the Kings would roar back with 3 unanswered goals to jump out to a 3-1 lead.

The Jr.Canucks would get to within 1 late in the first with a power play goal by Hayden Dick.

However, the late goal didn’t stop the Kings momentum as Wyatt Lawrence would net a pair of goals in the middle frame to make it 5-2 Kings.

Dawson Creek would score their lone goal of the middle frame with 1:05 remaining, but this was as close as they would come, as the Kings added a goal in the 3rd and walked away with the 6-3 win.

The best of seven series is now tied at a game a piece with the series shifting back to Dawson Creek for Game 3 which will be Monday night.

The other NWJHL semi-final between the North Peace Navigators and Fort St.John Huskies is also tied at 1 and will resume Monday in Fort St.John.
