Mar 8, 2019 | 6:56 AM

The Peace Country PCFAC Midget Elite Storm begin their 2019 playoffs this weekend at home as they host the North Central Impact in a best of three series.

The Storm finished the regular season with a 13-11-2 record, which was good for 3rd in the North division.

Their opponent in the best of three series the North Central Impact finished 6th in the division with a 7-17-2 record.

” They are a good team. They play a heavy game. They have some big players that like to ground and pound out there. We need to stay away from playing that game and stay to our speed game and our skilled game. If we do that we should be fine,” stated Storm Head Coach Dan Death.

These two clubs last met on January 27th in Leduc when the North Central Impact earned a 5-3 win.

Game 1 goes Friday night at the Coca-Cola Centre at 7:30 p.m.

Game 2 is Saturday at 7:45 p.m. and if necessary, Game 3 would be Sunday afternoon at 2:45 p.m.
