The North West Junior Hockey League Final will be determined by the end of this weekend.

Both league semi-final series are currently tied 2-2 and both will play Game 5 Friday night.

The Dawson Creek Jr.Canucks host the JDA Kings and the Fort St.John Huskies welcome the North Peace Navigators.

Dawson Creek is coming off a 2-1 win on the road at the County Sportsplex to even up the series with the Kings and regain home ice advantage.

“It’s been a pretty even series,” stated Kings Head Coach Kyle Chapple. “It’s been fast. It’s been phsyical. It’s had just about everything in the first foour games.”

Going into Game 5, Chapple is hopeful his team sticks to their gameplan and not worry so much about their opponent.

“The biggest thing we want to see out of our group is to just see us focus on our game. As long as we put our best foot forward, I like our chances.”

In the other league semi-final, the Fort St.John Huskies are hoping to bounce back as they were thumped 10-4 in Peace River in Game 4.

Puck drop for both games is Friday night at 8:00 p.m.

Both series will also play Game 6 on Saturday and Game 7 Sunday if necessary.
