Eastlink Centre aquatics area closed due to poor air quality issues

The aquatics portion of the Eastlink Centre is closed until further notice.

In a Facebook post, the city says it is due to a continued elevated air quality index.

All swimming lessons, user-group bookings and drop-in use are cancelled with this closure.

The city says daily monitoring of the air quality will continue, as well as added efforts within the facility to improve air quality.
