Storm announce a pair of pre-season trades

The Grande Prairie Storm has announced two trades.

Goalie Adam Kelly was shipped to the Weyburn Red Wings of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, (SJHL) while forward Mason Ganser was sent to the Drayton Valley Thunder, both were born in 2005.

In both trades, the Storm received a player development fee as compensation.

Kelly played 25 games with the Storm last season, posting a record of 5-16-3 with a .893 save percentage. Ganser however, never officially played a game with the Storm, but put up 20 goals and 26 assists for 46 points last season with the Lloydminster Bobcats in U18 AAA.

The Storm start the season in Spruce Grove on Friday, September 15, with their home opener set for September 22 against the Drayton Valley Thunder.
