City facility operating hours for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The City of Grande Prairie has announced its adjusted hours for this upcoming long weekend, in order to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

City facilities will operate on holiday hours on Saturday, September 30, and Monday, October 2.

Saturday’s facility hours of operation:

  • City Hall: Closed
  • City Service Centre: Closed
  • Ernie Radbourne Pavilion at Muskoseepi Park: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Eastlink Centre: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Design Works Centre: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Bonnetts Energy Centre: Open for Professional Bull Riding
  • Montrose Cultural Centre: Closed
  • Grande Prairie Public Library: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Grande Prairie Museum: Closed
  • Dave Barr Community Centre: Closed
  • Activity and Reception Centre: Closed
  • City on 99: Closed

On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, transit will operate on holiday hours, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

On Monday, some facilities and amenities will remain closed to recognize the National Day, while others will operate on regular business hours.

Monday’s facility hours of operation:

  • City Hall: Closed
  • City Service Centre: Closed
  • City on 99: Closed
  • PlayCare at the Eastlink Centre: Closed
  • Bonnetts Energy Centre box office: Closed
  • Grande Prairie Museum: Closed
  • Ernie Radbourne Pavilion: Open for regular hours
  • Eastlink Centre: Open for regular hours
  • Design Works Centre: Open for regular hours
  • Montrose Cultural Centre: Open for regular hours
  • Activity & Reception Centre: Open for regular hours

Transit will also operate on its regular business hours.
