Wanted woman arrested in Peace River

Peace Regional RCMP says on April 29, 2025, members were out in the community of Peace River conducting proactive patrols in the area of 100 Avenue and 101 Street when they saw a person riding a dirtbike with no license plate.

Officers tried to stop the person driving the dirtbike but fled. The dirtbiker was found a short time later.

Twenty-eight-year-old Lessa Lidia Hudson of Peace River was arrested for:

  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
  • Obstruct a peace officer
  • Failure to stop motor vehicle for peace officer
  • Operation of motor vehicle with no registration
  • Fail to operate vehicle with drivers license
  • Operate a motor vehicle emitting light to the rear

She was also arrested on warrants that include the following:

  • Dangerous operation of motor vehicle
  • Flight from Police officer
  • Obstruct a peace officer
  • Failure to attend court x 3
  • Failure to comply with release conditions x 2
  • Break and enter
  • Mischief
  • Fail to comply with probation

Additionally, an intoxication charge was laid after an Alberta Provincial Impaired Sanctions fail.

Hudson was brought before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into police custody. She was in Peace River Court on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
