Peck moves up Iditarod standings

Grande Prairie musher Aaron Peck is climbing up the standings list at the Iditarod sled dog race.
 
Peck has moved up to 17th from 23rd.
 
He arrived at the Iditarod checkpoint, the halfway point of the race, just after 6 a.m. Alaska time today. He headed back out after a seven-minute layover.
 
The mushers are racing from Anchorage to Nome.
