Celtics football season ends in Lloydminster

There will be no provincial high school football title this year for the St Joe’s Celtics.

The Celtics were in Lloydminster yesterday for the Tier 2 high school North final, where they fell 38-14 to the Barons.

Lloydminster now moves on to face Foothills from Okotoks in the provincial final.

That game goes next Saturday in Lacombe.
