Even though the game was back and forth on Sunday, the Grande Prairie Storm couldn’t pull out a win in Sherwood Park. The Crusaders wound up winning 5-3.
The Blue and Gold held a 3-2 lead in the final frame. This was the first time in four games that the Storm had lost on the road.
The Sunday loss follows a 5-4 loss at home against the Camrose Kodiaks.
With 29 points in the North Division, the Storm now have a 13-8-3 record and sit in fourth place. They head to Drayton Valley Monday night.
