DeJong rink wins Red Deer Curling Classic

Grande Prairie’s Delia DeJong rink beat Satsuke Fujisawa’s rink from Japan 4-2 in seven ends to win the women’s final at the Red Deer Curling Classic.

Fujisawa’s team made the final at the 2016 World Women’s Curling Championship.

The second on the DeJong rink is Amy Janko and the lead is Beaverlodge product, Stephanie Enright. Dejong’s daughter Janais is the third. 

Brendan Bottcher’s rink won the men’s final, 6-2 over Ted Appleman.
