Snow removal underway on County roads

Snow removal crews are working to clear drifting snow from the County’s 3,600 km road network.

Crews are currently clearing local gravel and rural roads as a priority.

The County has also hired extra equipment and will be working extended house to clear rural roads as soon as possible.

Drivers are reminded to slow down in these conditions, to drive with their headlights on, avoid sudden moves, and to leave enough room between you and the vehicle which you are following.

The County thanks, residents and motorists for their patience as they try to clear roads as quickly as possible.
