Flyers get by Canucks in Overtime

Feb 14, 2018 | 5:06 AM

The North Peace Hockey League playoffs resumed Tuesday night as the West Division’s double round robin continued.

Following their first loss of the post-season, the Fort St.John Flyers bounced back at home with a 3-2 overtime win over the Dawson Creek Canucks.

This improves the Flyers record to 4-0-1 in the double round robin and gives them a substantial lead over the Canucks and Grande Prairie Athletics.

Fort St.John will be in Grande Prairie Thursday night with a chance to eliminate Grande Prairie from playoff contention and inch them closer to clinching a spot in the NPHL final.
