The Grande Prairie Storm earned a massive two points Thursday night thanks to a 3-2 win in a shootout over Fort McMurray.

Zachary Okabe and Jared Power would find the back of the net in regulation, and Justin Bernier and Dallas Comeau scored in the shootout to vault the Storm to their 26th win of the campaign.

Ethan Slobodzian was massive in the victory for the Storm, stopping 39 of 41 shots in the 65 minutes of play, and added two more stops in the shootout.

With the win, the Storm improve to 26-26-3 on the year and are now 5 points clear of the Sherwood Park Crusaders for 4th place in the AJHL’s North Division with five games to go.
