Storm go into playoffs on winning note

The Grande Prairie Storm wrapped up the regular season Sunday afternoon at home as they knocked off the Lloyminster Bobcats 5-1.

Dallas Comeau scored twice, Eduard Michaud registered a goal and an assist, and both Connor Blake and Zachary Okabe found the back of the net in the win.

With the victory, the Storm finish the 2017-2018 regular season with a 28-29-3 record, good for 59 points and 4th in the AJHL’s North Division.

They will meet the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the 1st round of the playoffs.

The best of five series will begin on Wednesday night in Grande Prairie with Game one, and Game two on Thursday before the series shifts to Sherwood Park.
