Flyers claim NPHL title

The Fort St.John Flyers are North Peace Hockey League Champions.
They clinched the title Tuesday night at home with a 7-6 win over the Falher Pirates in game 5.
Rick Cleaver scored the game-winner for the Flyers in the final 10 minutes of the 3rd period.
They claimed the best of seven series 4-1 and managed to only lose two games throughout the entire post-season.
This is the Flyers first league title since the 2008-2009 season.
