Rainbow flag to be raised at City Hall

Thursday is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia and for the second year, it will be marked with a rainbow flag raising at Grande Prairie city hall.
The ‘Alliances for Solidarity’ ceremony is hosted by the Gay and Lesbian Association of the Peace and starts at 11:00 a.m. with a proclamation.
That will be followed by an event at Richmond Reception Centre 11802 99 Avenue Thursday 7:00 p.m.
It includes the one-act play “Phone Arts” followed by a Q and A with the artists and then speakers and open mic.
