Parking lot improvements at QE II Hospital starts Monday

Work begins early Monday morning on expanding and improving the parking lot that serves the Emergency department at the QE II Hospital. 
 
The project, which includes resurfacing and curb work, will also allow for four additional parking stalls to be added.
 
It is expected to take up to four weeks to complete, weather permitting. 
 
Ambulance or public drop off access will not be impacted by the work, and public parking will be made available in the lot directly east of the Emergency department.
 
This is phase one of parking lot improvements throughout the QE II Hospital, which will be done in phases and should wrap up by later in the summer.
