Medals for Grande Prairie Bowler

A Grande Prairie 10 pin bowler has returned home from the 2018 Special Olympics Canada Bowling Championships in PEI with a total of three medals. 

23-year-old Zac Frost won gold in the Men’s Division 5 singles competition with a 3 game score of 389.

He then combined with Lethbridge’s Ken Sawicki to take gold in Men’s Division 3 doubles with a combined score of 863.

Frost was also a member of the Alberta Men’s 3 team that finished fourth in the Division 2 men’s team competition with a score of 1473. 

Those results combined to earn Frost a silver in the Men’s Division 5 all-event competition with a total score of 1167. 

Meanwhile, the 5 pin team from Grande Prairie of Matthew Barker-Withers, Kaylee Cramer, Cole Jarvis, Paul Stranaghan, and Nicole Wasylchew finished 6th in the B Division Match Play event.
