Pedestrian lights coming to downtown intersection

May 25, 2018 | 12:41 PM

Grande Prairie City Hall says work will start Monday to install pedestrian lights at 98 Street and 101 Avenue.

Street lighting and a pedestrian island will also be put in.

The city says drivers should expect some lane closures. The speed limit will be down to 30 km/h.

Parking in that area may also be impacted.

People on foot should still be able to get around.
