Ridsdale records first-ever victory; Rever wins again

Cody Ridsdale of Paddle Prairie has his first WPCA win, taking the final in Medicine Hat by a one-second penalty.

He and John Walters had crossed the line tied for first, but Walters was given the one-second penalty for outrider interference.

Ridsdale’s outriders are Chance Flad and Casey Knight.

The WPCA wagons next race in High River Thursday through Sunday.

Eric Rever topped the aggregate for the Western Chuckwagon Association at Boots and Moccasins over the weekend at Evergreen Park.
 
He was followed by Derek Aebly, Rick McRorie, and Erik Tremblay.
 
The Western chucks will be racing in Whitecourt Friday through Sunday.
