Jul 4, 2018 | 11:12 AM

RCMP in Fort St. John aren’t naming the driver, but they say a 30-year-old man from that northeastern BC city is being investigated for impaired driving after a traffic flagger was hit and injured.

The flagger was seriously hurt but is expected to recover after being hit while directing traffic following a Canada Day fireworks display.

The suspect driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene.

Charges have not been laid but an investigation continues.
