Edmonton man reunited with necklace that was stolen in Grande Prairie
An Edmonton man has been reunited with a necklace containing his late father’s ashes after it was stolen while he was working in Grande Prairie.
A few weeks ago, a truck was broken into and the necklace taken. Photos were shared on social media of the item and possible suspect.
Darren Moyer, founder of Lightcatch says a member of the Facebook group recognized the item and knew the person who had it.
“Someone recognized him and reached out to him privately, explained that he didn’t own it and it was valuable to someone else and that she would like to make arrangements to get it back to its rightful owner to which he agreed.”
