Storm add veteran scoring presence up front

Jul 10, 2018 | 7:18 AM

The Grande Prairie Storm announced Monday evening that the club has signed 20-year-old forward Vincent Milot-Oullet.

The veteran forward has plenty of major junior experience as he played a combined 165 games in the Quebec Major Junior League.

During his time in the QMJHL, Oullet notched 25 goals and 40 assists.

Oullet was also drafted by the Gatineau Olympiques where he spent his first two seasons, before joining Chicoutimi this past year.

Storm Head Coach and Associate General Manager Matt Keillor stated in a press release that ” Oullet is a highly skilled cerebral player who can play centre or wing. He gives us more scoring depth right away and will make our powerplay a major threat. “

Oullet will be another weapon up front for the Storm during the 2018-2019 campaign, as they have three point-per-game players returning to their line-up already in Connor Blake, Jarrod Power, and AJHL Rookie of the Year Zachary Okabe.

The Storm will begin training camp at the end of August and play their first pre-season game on August 28th in Spruce Grove.
