Cockerton, Dickson lead Canada in 22-3 rout of Scotland at lacrosse Worlds
NETANYA, Israel — Mark Cockerton and Curtis Dickson scored four goals apiece to lead Canada to a 22-3 rout over Scotland on Saturday at the men’s lacrosse world championship.
Jeffrey Teat had eight points with seven assists, Kevin Crowley and Ben McIntosh scored three goals each, and Joshua Byrne had two goals and two helpers.
Tre Leclaire also scored twice for the Canadians, who improved to 2-0 after opening the tournament Friday with a 12-6 win over England. Zach Currier, Ian MacKay and Mark Matthews added singles.
Teat leads the team in points and sits fourth in tournament scoring with 13 on four goals and nine assists.
