In Rycroft, it was the Rage who struck first in their best of five series as they walked away with a 10-1 victory over the County Brewers.

Game 2 of the series will be played at the County Sportsplex Thursday night.

In the second Division Final series, it was the Manning Mets going out on the road and earning a tight 4-3 victory over the Peace River Stampeders to steal home field advantage.
