Ten people charged after five stolen vehicles recovered in Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie RCMP say 10 people have been charged after the recovery of five stolen vehicles.
A total of 27 charges have been laid.
Police say the vehicles were taken during five different thefts that happened in different parts of the city.
All were recovered between August 25 and September 1 by the Grande Prairie RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit.
A release from the RCMP says “CRU focuses on identifying repeat offenders, conducting targeted enforcement initiatives and addressing the root causes of crime. Each of these incidents is a successful example of a focused crime reduction strategy in our community.”
Mounties did not release the names of any of the people charged.
