Higson sent back to Brandon

Schael Higson is heading back to Brandon.

This after the Grande Prairie product spent time with the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights at their prospects camp.

The 20-year-old will now turn his attention to his final season of Junior hockey as one of the leaders of the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Higson had his most productive season in the Western Hockey League last year, as the blueliner racked up 5 goals and 23 assists.
