Food Bank Drive Kick-off took place this morning

Around 120 Grande Prairie Christian School students and representatives from the Salvation Army, City Council, and other organizations were on hand at the Eastlink Centre this morning for the Food Bank Drive Kick-off.

The kids were treated to a lifelike version of the game Life, where they had to use a limited amount of real money to purchase items from the food bank. They also had to pay any tickets they collected from police officers for speeding or not obeying the rules.

The actual Food Bank Drive takes place on Tuesday (Sept 18) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
